NYAIR Episode 58 –Morgan Creek’s Mark Yusko on the Future of Finance: Trends in Fintech

A discussion with Mark Yusko, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Morgan Creek Capital Management and the Managing Partner of Morgan Creek Digital Assets, about current trends in fintech.

Mark shares his insights into how disruptive technologies like blockchain are poised to alter the landscape of the payment system and the nature of money. As a result of these changes, he thinks we will have a broader and far more decentralized financial system with less frictional costs and risks, which is good for all parties –with the exception of the proverbial middleman. He will also share his views regarding the winners and losers in this Brave New World.

The discussion is facilitated by Robert Akeson, Managing Director, Investment Banking at Riverside Management Group.

Mark Yusko is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Morgan Creek Capital Management and the Managing Partner of Morgan Creek Digital Assets. Morgan Creek Capital Management was founded in 2004 and currently manages close to $2 billion in discretionary and non-discretionary assets.
