In honor of International Women’s Day, the New York Alternative Investment Roundtable is hosting its fifth annual all-female forum. Susan Webb, President & CIO of Appomattox Advisory, will lead panelists in a discussion of a broad range of topics across the industry, including their views on markets and beyond.

Panelists:

Cynthia DiBartolo is the Founder and CEO of Tigress Financial Partners, the nation’s only disabled & woman-owned investment bank, broker-dealer and research provider, which she launched after battling head and neck cancer in 2009 and becoming permanently disabled. Tigress is a woman owned and operated financial services firm sensitive to people with disabilities and DiBartolo oversees its overall strategy and direction, drawing from her extensive corporate and securities experience. She is also the CEO of RISE Financial Serivces, a woman-owned Prime Broker and is a member of the Board of Directors of Siebert Financial Corp, a public company trading on the NASDAQ. Prior to founding Tigress Financial Partners, she held roles at Merrill Lynch, where she worked as an attorney, Smith Barney-Morgan Stanley, where she was a compliance director, Citigroup and Bear Stearns. Her career began as an institutional credit analyst at Bear Stearns.

Anna Snider is Managing Director and Head of Due Diligence for the Chief Investment Office within Global Wealth & Investment Management at Bank of America. She is responsible for manager research across all asset classes for the wealth management businesses and also defines and executes investment strategies focusing on impact strategy research, thought leadership and investment implementation. Prior to this role, Anna was part of the alternative investments group where she advised clients on hedge fund and private assets portfolio construction and became head of research for externally managed alternative investment fund of funds. She was also a senior analyst in the risk management division at U.S. Trust. Anna offers many years of investment and risk analysis experience, having held positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, JP Morgan and UBS focusing on market, credit and operational risk management. Anna serves as chair of the board for High Water Women, a foundation based in New York City.

Susan Webb is president and CIO of Appomattox Advisory, a woman owned investment firm with approximately $2 billion in assets under management. Ms. Webb is a member of the firm’s investment committee, which is responsible for identifying and evaluating managers and managing portfolios. Prior to co-founding Appomattox, she was head of First Atlas Capital, the SEC Registered Advisor of global fund of hedge fund firm Atlas Capital. Other previous positions include working on the trading desks of Citibank, Paribas Capital Markets and CIBC. In addition to that, she was also a managing director at Caisse des Depots, where she established that firm’s U.S. credit derivative and synthetic CLO and hedge fund structuring business. Ms. Webb is a member of GTI Capital Group’s board; is on the board of High Water Women, and is on the advisory board of Catalyst Financial Partners. She holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School.
