Lance Klima
Lance Klima has spent over two decades working at the intersection of finance and sales – leveraging strong relationships that span private equity, Wall Street, and hedge funds alike and a deep knowledge of financial products to build entire departments from the ground up into multi-million dollar earners.
He is currently Head of Business Development for Thames Capital Management which is an Absolute Return Hedge Fund, where he is responsible for the raising capital and managing business relationships.
Prior to Thames Capital, Klima worked at Bank of America as a managing director, where he was responsible for the global allocation for the bank’s resources within capital markets (both equities and FICC) for a multitude of clients that spanned hedge funds, private equity firms – focusing on prime brokerage, swaps, derivatives, and high touch trading – while maximizing results across structured finance, balance sheet financing, FICC, equities, and investment banking departments.
Before joining Thames Capital, he was a senior managing director at Guggenheim Partners, where he was the architect of their institutional equity business – building the division to a group of over 100 professionals managing millions of dollars on an annual basis as well as operations, technology and talent acquisition.
