The Marcum Alternative Investment Manager Forum is designed to educate fund managers on the verge of SEC registration about how to institutionalize their businesses and how to attract investors.

Presented by Marcum’s Alternative Investment Group, the forum will feature panel discussions moderated by industry leaders and will also give managers the opportunity to network with others in their industry. The event will help prepare funds approaching the threshold for SEC registration for the more rigorous environment they will soon be operating in, with a focus on educating managers about how to formalize their processes and properly structure their operations. Panels will address four specific areas, including operational and compliance requirements, technology systems and cybersecurity protocols, marketing to investors, and effectively utilizing service providers.
